Vogelskopf is situated slightly off the Schwarzwaldhochstrasse between Ruhestein and Schliffkopf, and is one of the steepest slopes in the region. It is therefore particularly popular amongst sporty skiers and snowboarders. Our "forest descent" with its gentle gradient is suitable for beginners and families. In order to offer you uninterrupted skiing pleasure we prepare the pistes at night. A service appreciated by many skiing clubs in the region, who train with us regularly. Slalom training is possible with advance notice and in the event of good snow conditions. We leave an area of the slope untouched following fresh snowfalls, for that deep snow feeling. In good weather our sun terrace is extremely popular.
Since 2006 we have been the first lift in the northern Black Forest to own a piste basher machine. This allows us to maintain our slopes with even greater care. The system facilitates transporting snow, that has inevitably been pushed down the slopes by skiers and snowboarders, back up the slope. Since winter 2009/2010 snow mechanically generated at the valley station has been driven upwards by the machine and built up on the slope.
